What Am I Doing For You?
Being elected as the Member of Parliament for The Eastern Peninsulas is a great responsibility that I do not take lightly. My job is to listen to your concerns so that I can continue to fight for the issues that Newfoundlanders and Labradorians are passionate about.
That being said, I know it can be hard to keep up with the never ending news cycle, and things often fall through the cracks. So, I created a hub of information for all those wondering what it is I've been up to since getting elected.

Bill C-237: An Act to Amend the Fisheries Act

As an NLer, I know how important fishing is to our way of life, and I also know that we deserve the same rights as the rest of Atlantic Canada. Which is why the first bill I presented in the House of Commons was centered on implementing fair and equal fishing rules across all of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Unfortunately, the Liberals voted it down and continue to gatekeep fishing 7 days a week to only certain parts of the province. However, I am determined to continue fighting for equal fishing regulations for all NLers.
